Who we are

Wookondago operates wookondago.club — a Winnipeg events and community service. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

• Accounts: name, username, email, phone (optional), password hash, roles and account status.
• Event email list: email and area preferences (Winnipeg / Out There). You choose to sign up. Messages include an unsubscribe link (CASL). Delivery uses Resend or another configured email provider.
• Ticket orders: ticket holder name and email, event/tier, amount in CAD, and Interac e-Transfer payment status. Used to issue tickets and receipts.
• Charges & invoices: payer name, email, phone (when provided), line items, amounts (CAD), accepted policy text, and payment status.
• Payout records: payee name/email, role, event, amount and method — organizer record-keeping only; submitting a payout does not move money.
• Check-in: ticket QR scans and door-staff actions for hosted events.
• Group chat: signed-in members may open a community group chat link. That chat is hosted by Snapchat (a third party). We do not receive your Snapchat messages.
• Device storage: this browser may keep session tokens, email-list preferences and UI settings (for example collapsed boards) in local storage so the site and PWA work on your device.

Why we use it

To run accounts, list events, take ticket and charge payments by Interac e-Transfer, send transactional and list email you asked for, run door check-in, and keep organizer records. We do not sell personal information.

Email (CASL)

Event alerts use express consent when you subscribe (and confirm by email when required). Every marketing/digest message includes a working unsubscribe link. Transactional messages (password reset, ticket delivery, invoices) are sent as needed to provide the service.

Cookies & analytics

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or ad analytics. Hosting (Cloudflare) may log IP address and user-agent for security and reliability. The progressive web app may cache files on your device for offline use.

Sharing

We share data with processors needed to run the service (for example Cloudflare hosting/database and Resend for email) or when required by law. Third-party sites you open (ticket pages, Snapchat) have their own privacy practices.

Retention & your choices

Account, ticket and billing records are kept as needed for operations and bookkeeping. Soft-deleted records may remain in backups for a limited time. You can unsubscribe from event email anytime, and request access or correction at [email protected].

Law

We handle personal information in line with PIPEDA and applicable Manitoba requirements. Governing law: Manitoba, Canada. Times shown on the site use Winnipeg time unless noted. Money amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
